CHICAGO, September 24, 2014 – Ifbyphone, provider of the leading voice-based marketing automation platform for optimizing revenue generation through call analytics and automation, today announced the addition of Tim Cunningham as Chief Financial Officer. Cunningham has over 20 years experience building and advising successful technology companies through their entire growth lifecycle from early stage to IPO or sale.
Prior to becoming Ifbyphone’s CFO, he was CFO and a senior executive at five different software companies. He has led three companies through the IPO process, including Infinium Software, an organization Cunningham helped grow from an INC 500 business to a publicly traded company, and two that were ultimately sold on the verge of IPO, including GFI Software, where he most recently served as VP of Finance and Operations. At GFI, Cunningham built a financial management infrastructure to take the company public, resulting in the billion-dollar sale of the company’s largest asset, TeamViewer.

The announcement of Cunningham’s appointment comes on the heels of Ifbyphone’s news earlier this month that they had acquired Mongoose Metrics and raised an additional $30 million of growth capital, raising their total venture funding to $60 million.

Earlier in his career, Cunningham was with KPMG in New York, and post-graduate school, with Price Waterhouse in Boston. He holds a BS in Accounting from Boston College and an MBA from Boston University, and is a CPA in the states of New York and Florida.
